The Town Hall of Firgas has completed the second phase of its network infrastructure update with the acquisition of new technological equipment.

The Town Hall of Firgas has taken a significant step in modernizing its systems by renewing its technological infrastructure. This initiative, representing the second and final stage of a comprehensive network upgrade, includes the acquisition of a new data server, a storage cabinet, and a 42u rack cabinet.
The new data server will support the current one, while the storage cabinet will replace the obsolete unit with less data storage capacity. The larger rack cabinet will house the new hardware, enabling a necessary and gradual renovation of the municipal administration's network and data infrastructures.
This project was made possible by a grant awarded by the Department of Presidency and Sustainable Mobility of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria. The funding comes from the administrative Coordination, Modernization, and Innovation service, within the framework of the subsidy call for municipalities with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, aimed at financing projects for the implementation of electronic administration, digital public services, and ICT development (2025 annuity).
