The aim is to provide alternatives to private vehicles and improve mobility during the events scheduled over the coming weeks. The first extraordinary service will be active this weekend, connecting San Mateo with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
During the early hours of Saturday, September 5th to Sunday, September 6th, line 303 will offer two additional departures towards the Gran Canarian capital, scheduled for 00:30 and 02:30 AM, in addition to the regular 01:30 AM service. Details regarding reinforcements for other events will be announced soon.
The mayor will hold a meeting next week with the manager of the Unique Transport Authority to coordinate these services, also discussing the planned reinforcement for the Patchwork Fair. The municipal strategy is to adapt public transport offerings to the expected attendance and schedules of the municipality's major events.
