The events will commence at 11:15 AM with the official reception and a military parade. Subsequently, at 12:00 PM, the Solemn Mass will be officiated by the Bishop of the Diocese, Monseñor José Mazuelos. The official reception of the representative of H.M. the King, the President of the Government of Canarias, Fernando Clavijo, will precede the mass.
The military parade will feature the participation of the Light Infantry Regiment Canarias nº 50 of the Army, accompanied by the War Band nº1 of the Canarias 16 Brigade, the Music Unit of the Canary Air Command, and the Gastadores Squadron of the Canary Air Command.
Around 1:00 PM, following the mass, the procession will begin, touring through Iglesia Chica, La Cal, Calle Nueva, Isaac Domínguez, and Calle Real de la Plaza streets.
As in previous years, the procession will include a 'petal shower' as the throne of the Virgen del Pino passes, especially on Calle Real. Approximately twenty people will throw petals from 10,000 roses from the rooftops of two houses.
