The Play Space, conceived by artist and researcher Priscilla Vela, transformed the Alameda square into a vibrant hub for meeting and coexistence. The initiative turned an everyday public space into a place for family enjoyment and intergenerational play.
Throughout the day, it was evident how the square offered new playful possibilities for people of different ages, fostering interaction around the essential activity of playing. More than 300 people, including children and adults, actively participated, enjoying a different kind of day that enlivened the life of the Alameda.
