The Teror City Council has launched the 'Teror te acerca' project, an initiative aimed at improving connectivity between the urban center and the municipality's more remote neighborhoods using taxi services.

This proposal, part of the participatory program 'The Mayor Listens to You', has led to a meeting with representatives from the local taxi sector. The main objective is to understand their needs and present the details of the initiative, which seeks to ensure accessibility in areas where public transport is limited or non-existent.
The project is based on the motto 'No one is left behind' and seeks the involvement of all taxi licenses in the municipality to solve mobility challenges. Currently, Teror has 12 active taxi licenses and a taxi drivers' association, 'Virgen del Pino', which represents the collective.

"The project is aimed at improving connectivity within the municipality."

The official presentation of the project to all taxi professionals is scheduled for Thursday, May 7 at 10:30 AM at the Municipal Offices. The event will feature the participation of the 'Nos movemos' Foundation, which will support this local transport improvement initiative.
