The Basilica of Teror hosts this Tuesday, September 1st, at 12:00 PM, the Flag Raising ceremony, marking the start of the Fiesta del Pino.

The event will be enlivened by intense bell ringing, parades of papagüevos (traditional figures), and music by ‘Swing Goloso’, concluding with fireworks.
The Flag Raising is one of the most popular and anticipated events at the beginning of the festival, enjoyed by both children and adults. This event sets the calendar for the religious activities of the feast of Ntra. Sra. del Pino, which will run from September 5th to 20th, including the Descent and Ascent of the Virgin to the Camarín.
