The cultural program of the Fiesta del Pino in Teror kicked off with the International Street Art Festival, attracting thousands of visitors to enjoy 43 live circus, theater, dance, and music performances.
The festival, part of the Fiesta del Pino 2026, gathered thousands of spectators last weekend for the 43 shows that took place on the streets and stages of Teror, featuring circus, theater, dance, and live music.
In its 13th edition, the festival extended its program by an extra day, from Friday, August 28th to Sunday, August 30th. It brought together over a hundred artists from 28 companies from Canary Islands, France, Madrid, Basque Country, Catalonia, and Valencia. The performances were held on 9 stages in the historic center of Teror, offering 39 hours of free, open-air shows for all audiences.
The festival maintains its core identity: free entry, programming for all ages, accessible spaces, a 'dog-friendly' approach, and a commitment to sustainability in mobility, waste management, and social inclusion.
The musical offering was enhanced this year, featuring eleven groups and artists from Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Andalusia. The streets were also enlivened with live music, creating a dynamic atmosphere between performances.
Two international companies performed in the Canary Islands for the first time: La Côte Folle and Collectif Bislacco, the latter composed of artists recently graduated from the circus school in Toulouse.
One of the most anticipated moments was the performance by the Catalan group ‘Puja’, a leading name in aerial circus, with their shows Verne and Asteroide B612 – The Little Prince, where artists flew at heights exceeding 20 meters.
