Born in Valleseco in 1978 and a graduate in Dramatic Arts, the speaker began his directing career in 2006. Since then, he has accumulated over thirty national and international awards, solidifying a filmography recognized at prestigious festivals such as Rotterdam, Venice, and San Sebastián.
Among his most notable works are La pasión de Judas (2014), El becerro pintado (2017), and his first feature film, Rendir los machos (2021), awarded for Best Direction at the Seville European Film Festival. A significant period of his career includes projects carried out with people with functional diversity from the Valleseco Occupational Center, such as the trilogy Cuentos de cartón, which transcended borders and demonstrated the power of art as a tool for inclusion and social transformation.
