The initiative aims to reduce response times for incidents in the island's midlands and peaks. Currently, emergency care in these areas relies on resources dispatched from other operational bases, which limits reaction capacity during simultaneous emergencies.
The deployment will directly impact coverage for Telde, Vega de San Mateo, Santa Brígida, and surrounding population centers, while also improving safety along the road corridors connecting these municipalities to the rest of the island.

Launching the new service will require a staff of eight to ten professionals. The final number of personnel will depend on the working conditions established in the new sector Collective Agreement and the contract eventually signed for the resource's management.
