The Mancomunidad de Municipios de las Medianías de Gran Canaria is holding the fifteenth edition of the 'Alma de Medianías' Regional Wine, Cheese, and Honey Fair in Valsequillo de Gran Canaria, from October 31 to November 1.

The fair, which aims to connect producers and consumers, returns to Valsequillo, a municipality that previously hosted it in 2019. The event will take place at the Pabellón Municipal El Mercadillo and its surroundings.
Eighty brands will participate, including cheeses, wineries, honey and liqueur producers, as well as artisan bakeries, confectioners, oil producers, cured meats, and ice cream, alongside sector associations.
The program, starting on Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 AM, will feature tasting workshops, traditional exhibitions, hands-on activities, music, and a livestock display.
The fair, established to bring consumers closer to the origin of their food and drink and to provide a regional showcase for small producers, expects to attract around 15,000 visitors, consistent with previous editions.
The president of the Mancomunidad, José Armengol Martín, emphasizes that 'Alma de Medianías is not just a commercial event, it is a celebration of our rurality and a tribute to the primary sector'.
The fair offers free admission. On Saturday, October 31, it will be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Sunday, November 1, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The full program is available at www.medianias.org.
