The fair, celebrating its thirteenth edition, started with a warm welcome from attendees. Numerous people visited on the opening day to enjoy the offerings of this event, which once again reaffirms its importance in the municipality. The day featured 36 sales stands, as well as exhibitions, workshops, and various activities related to the world of patchwork and crafts.
Among the highlighted initiatives is the Proyecto Yoti, a solidarity project dedicated to creating dolls for children and young people in vulnerable situations. Those interested in collaborating can donate fabric scraps for the making of these dolls.
The opening day was also enlivened by live music and the unveiling of the collective awning ‘Tejiendo igualdad’ (Weaving Equality), which contributed to creating a special atmosphere. The afternoon concluded with a raffle, organized thanks to the contributions of the participating stands, who prepared baskets for the activity.
The fair will continue this Saturday, October 3rd, with more activities. The stands will continue distributing raffle tickets, with the draw and prize-giving ceremony taking place from 5:00 PM onwards. The participation and collaboration of all attendees, stands, and collaborators who made this day possible are greatly appreciated.
