The Vega de San Mateo City Council has requested funding from the Government of Canarias to carry out sewage works, seeking up to one million euros to improve the municipality's infrastructure and services.

The mayor of Vega de San Mateo, Davinia Falcón, and the first deputy mayor, Juan Báez, met with Alfonso Cabello from the Presidency of the Government of Canarias to discuss the municipality's needs and request funds for sewage works.
During the meeting, the possibility of securing financing of up to one million euros before the end of the year was raised to carry out these actions, deemed necessary for the continued improvement of the municipality's infrastructure and public services.
The mayor has already formally submitted the request in writing, initiating the corresponding procedures with the Government of Canarias to advance the concession of this subsidy for this year and its execution next year.
This new request is in addition to other subsidies that the Vega de San Mateo City Council has requested and received from various administrations for the execution of works and the development of projects aimed at improving infrastructure, public spaces, and municipal services.
Through these efforts, the City Council continues to work towards obtaining the necessary financial resources to meet the municipality's needs and enhance the quality of life for its residents.
