The decision was made after over a hundred residents participated in the survey, proposing three themes: ‘Brazil’, ‘The Circus’, and ‘Free Theme’. Voting was open until October 23rd.
‘The Circus’ received 49.6% of the votes, surpassing ‘Free Theme’ (34.1%) and ‘Brazil’ (15.3%). The City Council is already working on the poster design with the winning theme.
The mayor of El Pinar, Juan Miguel Padrón Brito, thanked citizens for their participation in the selection via social media. Meanwhile, the Councilor for Festivals, María Lourdes Pérez, confirmed that preparations for the poster have already begun.
