The Valverde City Council has confirmed that this Friday it will transport all recently collected humanitarian aid to Tenerife, from where its final shipment to Venezuela will be coordinated.

The initiative, supported by the Asociación Social Solidaridad de Venezuela, aims to address the basic needs of the South American country's population. The council has highlighted the importance of this logistics operation to ensure the aid reaches its destination effectively.
Given the proximity of the departure date, the local administration has issued an urgent appeal to citizens to increase donations. Contributions of medicines and surgical supplies are especially needed, as these remain a priority for healthcare assistance.
The deadline for drop-offs is Thursday morning. During the remainder of the day, municipal services will be responsible for sorting and preparing the packages to ensure their transport to the neighboring island the following day.
