Editorial Siete Islas has scheduled the launch of five new literary works for April 15, promising to captivate readers with profound and diverse stories, many of them set in the Canary Islands.

With a proposal ranging from romance to emotional thrillers, the Lanzarote-based publisher strengthens its position as a benchmark in LGTBIQ+ literature. The collection includes both established authors and new voices, offering narratives that explore themes such as love, desire, memory, and the struggle for self-acceptance.
Among the most anticipated titles is El Hierro, the latest novel by Nisa Arce, a highly popular author in the LGBT romance genre, known for her successes on digital platforms. This work promises intense emotional depth and memorable characters.
In a darker tone, La madre hueca (The Hollow Mother), by Ismael Lozano, winner of the Arkoiris Award 2024 for best writer in the Canary Islands, is presented as an emotional thriller that delves into fear, desire, and the consequences of prolonged silence. Additionally, La madre de Hans Müller (Hans Müller's Mother), by Pepe Betancort, is an absorbing story set between Lanzarote and Tenerife, where family secrets and identity intertwine.
The catalog is completed with Regresar a Lancelot (Return to Lancelot), by Fabio Carreiro Lago, described as an intimate emotional journey, and Burbujas (Bubbles), an illustrated fable by Ismael Lozano Latorre with illustrations by Juan Castaño, which addresses homophobia and self-acceptance, although its initial availability will be limited.
