The municipal courts of Arrecife hosted the final day of the San Ginés Senior Bola Canaria Tournament, an activity included in the patron saint festivities of Lanzarote's capital. The competition gathered 130 participants across 11 male and 11 female teams, noted for its participatory spirit and the inclusion of a mixed team from the El Cribo Mental Health Association.
Jointly organized by the Festivals and Senior areas of the Arrecife City Council, the event highlighted the enthusiasm of the elderly participants and the importance of preserving this traditional Canarian sport. The tournament fostered camaraderie and sportsmanship among the teams.

The final day concluded with Las Especiales taking the win in the women's category and La Democracia in the men's, marking the end of a competition characterized by high participation, a positive atmosphere, and the sport's traditional roots.
