The team coached by Aday Sánchez faces its first preparatory match, traveling to Lanzarote to compete in the Torneo San Ginés. This competition will bring together four Canary Islands teams from Primera Nacional.
Gáldar's first opponent will be Balonmano Ingenio, in a match scheduled for this Friday at 6:30 PM in the Titerroy Pavilion. Beyond the result, the game will serve to evaluate the offensive and defensive concepts worked on during the initial weeks and for players to regain competitive rhythm.
The tournament will also feature the host, Balonmano Lanzarote Ciudad de Arrecife, who will play against Balonmano Tacoronte in the other semifinal. On Saturday, the third and fourth place match (10:30 AM) and the grand final (12:30 PM) will be held.
For this first event, Aday Sánchez has called up 15 players: Magnol Suárez, Carlos Grignani, Jesús Mendoza, Adrián Rivero, Joel Pararols, Carlos Padrón, Yyaron Ramírez, Yanis Ramírez, Fran Trujillo, Cayetano González, Néstor González, Emiliano Villaverde, Ezequiel Conde, Carlos Mederos, and Gonzalo Asensio.
This match against Ingenio represents the first pre-season test for Balonmano Gáldar, as they aim to consolidate their game mechanisms for what is expected to be a demanding season.
