The work, taking place on a plot facing west on the island, aims to incorporate accessible routes, shaded areas, and green spaces, in addition to 969 burial sites, including 762 niches, 80 columbaria, and 35 ossuaries, along with 92 tombs.
Current tasks involve earthmoving prior to the construction of the niches. The project design features two large central squares intended as meeting and distribution points, surrounded by landscaped areas with large native trees to offer shade and a tranquil atmosphere.
The approach emphasizes a simple layout using masonry elements and local vegetation, facilitating user orientation while maintaining visual connection to the sea from various points. The affected plot covers just over 10,900 square meters.
