The operation, coordinated with the Festivities Department, includes an increase in personnel and material resources at key locations such as Charco de San Ginés, Ginory, the ventorrillos area, El Reducto beach, El Almacén square, and the Islas Canarias park, among other celebration-linked sites.
Cleaning tasks will run from early morning until the early hours on days with high attendance, particularly after concerts and large-scale events. Teams will continuously clean and maintain festive areas, with special focus immediately following event conclusions.
Specific reinforcements are planned, including laborers, drivers, and supervisors, along with the use of street washers, sweepers, and scrubbers for more intensive interventions. Dedicated teams will also be assigned for cleaning before, during, and after specific concerts and celebrations, such as activities at El Reducto and the Fiesta de La Chola.
The operation includes activities from early morning and extends into the early hours on certain days, especially coinciding with concerts, large-scale activities, and other festival events.
The festivities will commence on the evening of Friday, August 14, with the opening speech by athlete Hecher Sosa. The celebrations will conclude on August 25 with the traditional fireworks display, following a performance by David Bisbal. On Saturday, August 15, Pablo Alborán will perform at the Lava Live stage.
