The initiative, promoted by the City Council's Culture Department and directed by Abigail González, aims to transform neighborhoods into spaces for cultural coexistence. The day will begin at 6:00 PM with a creative workshop and conclude at 7:00 PM with a musical performance.
Councilwoman Abigail González highlighted the social value of the event, stating that Cultura Arrecife seeks to make neighborhoods "living stages" that unite music, creativity, and talent in open, inclusive spaces for everyone.
Starting at 6:00 PM, the Ars Magna Cultural and Artistic Association will conduct a cyanotype workshop, an old photographic technique using sunlight to create Prussian blue images. Participants can experiment with plants and objects, with materials provided by the association. Pre-registration is required via the link provided by the organizers.
Following the workshop, at 7:00 PM, Tenerife-based singer-songwriter Étel Santos, accompanied by her band Lavanda Fresca, will perform. Her repertoire blends music with social commentary, humor, and narrative, inviting deep reflection.
Through this session, ‘Naturaleza Sonora Arrecife’ continues its mission to offer a different perspective on local culture, creating artistic meeting points and transforming the urban landscape.
