The police operation occurred on the night of August 24th in the Lanzarote capital during preventive measures against drug trafficking. Officers found a fanny pack inside an establishment containing 268 sildenafil tablets and money. Subsequently, they discovered several small bags with a white solid substance that, pending final analysis, appeared to be cocaine.
In total, 101 packages weighing approximately 74.30 grams of the alleged drug were seized. Additionally, 975 more sildenafil tablets were found, bringing the total to 1,243 units. Police also confiscated a precision scale and 2,020.05 euros in cash.

Sildenafil belongs to the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor group and functions by promoting blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. The police report did not specify the brand name of the seized tablets or details about their distribution.
The 48-year-old establishment owner was arrested and taken to the National Police station in Arrecife, initially charged with a public health offense. Investigations are ongoing, and the substance seized as suspected cocaine awaits final analysis to confirm its nature and composition.
