The event, part of the Fiestas de Playa Honda 2026 program, takes place on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19. Residents and visitors can enjoy creations from over 15 restaurants from the Canary Islands, including establishments from Lanzarote and the municipality of San Bartolomé, all focusing on hamburgers.
The initiative combines culinary offerings with a leisure program featuring live music, workshops, and various activities. Options cater to diverse tastes, including vegan and gluten-free choices, a sweet zone, craft beers, and bouncy castles.
Friday's music lineup includes Las Melizllas DJ (18:00-19:30), Fran Bernal (19:30-22:00), and Renzzo El Selector (22:00-00:00).

The Mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted that the festival expands Playa Honda's program with a distinct initiative designed for diverse audiences, showcasing the municipality's gastronomic and commercial offerings.

The Councilor for Commerce, Alma González, emphasized the participation of establishments and sector professionals, noting that the event highlights Canarian gastronomy. She added that such initiatives stimulate commercial and restaurant spaces, offering a leisure experience linked to gastronomic products.

The Councilor for Celebrations, Estefanía Luzardo, explained that the inclusion of Burger Fest aligns with the goal of offering a varied and dynamic program, blending gastronomy, music, and activities for all ages.
Entry to Burger Fest Canarias is free. The event runs this Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, from 6:00 PM at the Playa Honda Urban Park. Attendees can vote for their favorite creation and participate in various activities and workshops.
