Several agents of the National Police had to intervene early Sunday morning to break up a major fight that took place in the bar area of Las Rapaduras, in Arrecife.
Eyewitnesses described the situation as "dantesque," indicating that the brawl, in which some participants used sticks, began shortly after eight in the morning. The police intervention was swift and immediately brought the situation under control.
Officers proceeded to identify and arrest several of those involved. According to witnesses, there were several injuries, although no official report on the incident or the condition of the participants has been released.
