The project involves interventions in two distinct areas, covering an estimated surface of 2,015 square meters in the first and 254 square meters in the second. Additionally, a new building of 87.16 square meters will be constructed.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted that the action represents an "integral improvement of a reference space" and responds to the need to provide the municipality with "quality public facilities, accessible and adapted to current needs".
The objective is for the environment of the Lomo de Tesa CSC to become a place for meeting, coexistence, and enjoyment for the residents of Montaña Blanca, transforming the current outdoor sports area into a versatile recreational space with children's and sports equipment.
The intervention also includes adapting levels, renovating pavements, enclosures, retaining elements, and improving accessibility, taking into account the terrain's slope. The Councilor for Urban Planning, Marlene Romero, noted that the aim is for a "safer, more accessible, and functional" use.
The Councilor for Public Works, Raúl de León, added that the action will comprehensively renew the space, adapting it to current uses and improving its functionality and safety. "We are working to ensure that municipal investments translate into better-prepared, more versatile public spaces serving the residents," he stated.
The project includes reorganizing outdoor spaces, improving pathways and pavements, new equipment, and the new 87.16 square meter building. Existing structures will be demolished to achieve a more functional distribution and enhance the relationship between the complex's different zones, with special attention to universal accessibility.
