The event, scheduled from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, is aimed at students beginning their studies at UNED in the 2026/2027 academic year. The objective is to provide general information about the institution, its associated center in Lanzarote, and the specifics of distance learning.
During the session, the center's management and teaching staff will be introduced. Details about the educational platform will be provided, including the virtual course, study guide, forums, and UNED email. Additionally, information on tutoring modalities, both in-person and virtual, including schedules, programming, and incident management, will be explained.
Attendees will also receive information about the university library and hear about the experiences of UNED Alumni, former students who will share their journeys.
The Welcome Session aims to offer general information about UNED, its Lanzarote center, and the peculiarities of distance learning.
