The events will also explore the economic transformation of Tías, with experts addressing key topics such as water management, tourism development, and fishing activities. Anthropologist Juliette Campagne will facilitate citizen participation, gathering residents' experiences.
Prominent specialists will debate the history and development of Tías' heritage, analyzing socioeconomic transformation, genealogy, and the historical role of women. Archaeologist José de León Hernández is leading the overall coordination of this initiative.
As a closing event, a group field trip will take place on Saturday, September 26, to emblematic sites such as El Oratorio, Casas Hondas, Testeina, and El Taro. The event will conclude with a community gathering featuring food and traditional music.
