While major platforms deduct a commission from each booking, CasaLinking works differently: listing a property is free, and guests contact the owner directly. There is no booking commission.
The portal is designed for owners of holiday rental properties in the Canary Islands and other areas of Spain and Europe. Each listing includes photos, description, availability calendar, and prices, and can be viewed in six languages, making it easier to reach guests from different countries.
How payment works
Owners who want to receive payments online connect a payment account (with Stripe, the payment processor). In this case, a 0.5% fee is applied for payment processing, which covers the payment system, automatic date blocking, security deposits, and refunds, plus normal card charges. The money goes directly to the owner's bank account, without passing through CasaLinking.
Those who prefer not to charge online can arrange payment directly with the guest, at no cost to the owner. CasaLinking also allows setting an optional refundable security deposit, up to 500 euros, which is charged before arrival and automatically returned after departure, unless the owner reports damages within that period.
Compatible with Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo
The platform synchronises the calendar with Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo to avoid double bookings. This way, owners can maintain those platforms for visibility and receive direct bookings through CasaLinking, keeping a larger portion of each booking. The portal's fee comparison page allows calculating the difference based on the price and occupancy of each property.
Owners can also activate notifications for new bookings and enquiries on their mobile, as CasaLinking has an app on Google Play, and appear with a verified host badge when they have connected their calendar or payment account.
CasaLinking is managed by Canarias Property Solutions SL. More information at casalinking.com.
