These funds will finance the free services the organization offers to cancer patients and their families on the island, including psychological support, social assistance, and accompaniment throughout the illness. The Association also dedicates resources to cancer research, having allocated 157 million euros in 2025 to projects aimed at improving patient survival and quality of life.
The presentation was attended by Víctor Alonso, Minister of Social Action; Luis González, Minister of Sports; Isabel Laucirica, president of the Insular Board of the AECC in Fuerteventura; Dulce García, Councilor for Sports of the Tuineje City Council; Natividad Marcial, manager of Canaragua in Fuerteventura; and Juana Hernández, commercial director of Playitas Resort.
