The Minister of Employment Promotion, Nuria Cabrera, held a working meeting with representatives from the Association of Self-Employed Workers (ATA) to detail the support measures for Fuerteventura's productive sector. This meeting highlighted the firm commitment to strengthening the local economy.
The total investment planned for this year, 2026, amounts to approximately 3 million euros. These funds will be channeled through various grants and agreements aimed at supporting projects considered fundamental for the progress of Fuerteventura.
Additionally, a budget of 65,000 euros has been allocated, funded by the Island Council's own resources and the Canary Islands Development Fund (Fdcan). The purpose of this subsidy is to promote specific actions that facilitate the establishment of new businesses on the island.
