The Fuerteventura Insular Athletics Center will host the fifth edition of the Malpey Fuerteventura Games on September 26th and 27th, an event gathering over 330 crosstraining specialists.

The competition, promoted by the MalpHaltero Weightlifting Club with the backing of the La Oliva City Council and the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, has seen steady growth since its inception. This year, the number of participants exceeds the 300 athletes who attended the previous edition, cementing the event's status as a key fixture in the regional sports calendar.
The tournament structure remains consistent with previous years, offering three difficulty levels: scaled, intermediate, and RX/Master. Each category includes male, female, and mixed divisions, allowing athletes of varying experience levels to test their endurance, agility, and functional technique.
Local officials have highlighted the event's importance for the island's external profile. According to local authorities, the games not only promote physical activity but also serve as a hub for community interaction and skill-sharing among local clubs and visitors from across the archipelago and the mainland.
