Drago Fuerteventura has been officially constituted as an independent organization, strengthening its autonomy and management capacity on the island.

Drago Fuerteventura, the territorial branch of Drago Canarias on the island, has completed its formal constitution process following a key meeting and approval from the National Secretariat. The new entity will operate independently in decision-making concerning Fuerteventura.
The political formation highlights that this new phase grants Drago Fuerteventura "its own autonomy in decision-making affecting the Island, as well as more resources, greater human management capacity, its own visual identity, and ultimately, greater capacity for impact on the territory."
Aceysele Chacón will continue as the organization's spokesperson, a role she assumes as "a testament to the good work she has been doing in recent years and her commitment to defending the territory and improving the living conditions of the population of Fuerteventura, among other issues."

"This is a very happy moment for all members of Drago Canarias who live in Fuerteventura. From now on, we will have the capacity to cover more and more topics, and at the same time, make them more diverse."

Chacón also recalled the work carried out in Fuerteventura, specifically mentioning the effort in protecting La Cornisa. She detailed that reviewing documentation, engaging with residents, and presence in media and social networks culminated in the inclusion of the historic houses in the protection catalog by the Puerto del Rosario City Council.

"That was the most recent demonstration that if civil society, social movements, and parties like Drago Fuerteventura all row in the same direction, respecting each other but with a common goal, many of the problems currently affecting our Island can be improved."
