Fuerteventura's Popular Party (PP) has strongly criticized the Island Council's management of the bus service, labeling it "patchwork" and "improvisation" due to the lack of public transport tendering.

The party considers the launch of the new express line 3, connecting Puerto del Rosario with Fuerteventura Airport, to be an insufficient measure while the rest of the island faces a transport "collapse". They criticize the triumphalist promotion of a line that only serves a specific area, ignoring the needs of residents in the north and south of the island, as well as workers and students.
PP's spokesperson councilor, Claudio Gutiérrez, regrets that with less than a year left in the term, the governing coalition (CC-PSOE) has made no progress on tendering the service. According to the PP, Fuerteventura faces "another lost term" in transport matters due to the "lack of planning, foresight, and global management" by the insular government.
The new route 3, operated with three electric buses, focuses on the journey between Puerto del Rosario, the airport, and El Castillo (Caleta de Fuste). The party criticizes that this initiative overlooks users commuting daily to or from Corralejo, Gran Tarajal, or Morro Jable, areas with a "significant volume of users".
