A total of six entities and personalities have been honored in the 2026 edition of the Canary Islands Tourism Awards. Among the recipients are Bodegas Conatvs, Carlos Cebriá, Landmar Hoteles, Ecofinca Nogales, the Association for the Social Reintegration of Minors Anchieta, and the island of La Palma. The award ceremony, which will take place in Fuerteventura for the first time, is scheduled for September 24th.
The jury, chaired by the Minister of Tourism and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands, Jéssica de León, selected the winners from 102 candidacies, highlighting the high participation and the sector's commitment to improving destination quality, encompassing environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
Bodegas Conatvs, located in Lajares (Fuerteventura), receives the award for Tourism Excellence for its commitment to viticulture, sustainability, and tourist experience, raising the quality standard on the island. It is Fuerteventura's first winery with a Protected Designation of Origin Islas Canarias, a pioneer in cultivation on volcanic soils and in developing an experiential wine tourism model.
Businessman Carlos Cebriá is recognized with the Tourism Trajectory award for his dedication to quality and luxury tourism in Fuerteventura, promoting hotel projects such as the Hotel Atlantis Bahía Real, which has hosted internationally renowned personalities.
In the Sustainable Employment category, Landmar Hotels is honored for its people management model, focused on well-being, professional development, and social cohesion, establishing itself as a benchmark for work environment and talent attraction.
Ecofinca Nogales, in La Palma, receives the award for Innovation for its leadership in sustainable agriculture and ecological tourism, employing advanced permaculture and agroecology techniques to optimize resources and promote biodiversity.
The award for Accessibility and Inclusivity goes to the Association for the Social Reintegration of Minors Anchieta, for its commitment to social transformation in the Canary Islands since 1973, connecting social reality with the archipelago's strategic sectors and promoting the local population's quality of life.
Lastly, the island of La Palma is honored as a Sustainable Tourist Destination for consolidating a model based on comprehensive territorial protection, environmental conservation, landscape quality, and the balance between tourism development and social well-being, with over 35% of its area protected.
The ceremony will be held at the Palacio de Formación y Congresos in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura.
