The Club Voleibol Guaguas Las Palmas will face CV Melilla in the playoff final for the Men's Superliga title, in a best-of-three series where the team from Gran Canaria will seek to revalidate its crown.
The team from Gran Canaria, aiming to maintain its dominance in the volleyball league, will compete against an opponent arriving with high spirits after eliminating the second-ranked team from the regular season in the semifinals.
CV Melilla, led by Alberto Rodríguez, managed to defeat Grupo Herce Soria (1-2) in the third and decisive match played in Los Pajaritos, thus confirming their excellent form.
“
"Saturday's match at the Gran Canaria Arena was very complete, with a good level of serve and reception, always ahead on the scoreboard and with the advantage of the home crowd. It gave us strength to overcome the Balearic team."
Regarding the upcoming adversary, the CV Guaguas coach highlighted the solidity of CV Melilla, which finished third in the regular season. He emphasized that they are a "very compact and strong" block, "especially at home," and mentioned the quality of their setter and attackers, such as Martina Federico, who "will make things very difficult" for them.

"There are no weak opponents. If they are in the final, it's because they earned it on the court. Right now, we are the two best teams. We have to work very well because anything can happen in a final. We will seek to take the victory to Las Palmas."
