The Club Baloncesto Gran Canaria has officially confirmed that five players will not continue with the team for the upcoming 2026-2027 season in the Primera FEB, after their contractual relationships have ended.

The club has announced that Mike Tobey, Isaiah Wong, Kassius Robertson, Chimezie Metu, and Brandon Jefferson will not be wearing the yellow jersey next season. These departures follow those of Andrew Albicy and Eric Vila, previously confirmed.
Mike Tobey, who arrived on the island in the summer of 2024, departs after playing 104 games across competitions such as the Liga Endesa, the BKT EuroCup, and the Basketball Champions League (BCL).
Meanwhile, Isaiah Wong joined in the summer of 2025 and was one of the most outstanding players of the 2025-2026 season, averaging 14.2 points per game in the domestic league.
Jefferson, Robertson, and Metu joined the team during the season. Robertson participated in 19 Liga Endesa matches, while Jefferson's contribution was limited to five games. Metu played 12 league games, averaging 14.1 points.

"We thank them for their services and wish them luck in their professional future."
