The fifteenth edition of Fimar, scheduled from May 22 to 24, 2026, at the Sanapú pier of the Port of Las Palmas, is nearing its registration deadline for companies and entities interested in participating. This annual event brings together various stakeholders linked to the marine and maritime sector, promoting the blue economy in the archipelago.
Registration is open for operators in fields such as nautical, marine and maritime sectors, port environment, fashion, and water sports, among other ocean-related activities. Interested parties can formalize their participation through the official fair website.
Fimar is a joint initiative of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and Puertos de Las Palmas. The event's organization is managed by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, and the City of Sea Department of the capital's council.
The fair will not only offer a commercial space for sports boats, marine technology, and aquatic items but will also address crucial topics such as ocean environmental protection, sustainable development of the blue economy, maritime safety, and specialized training. The 2026 edition will highlight the role of Outermost Regions and the sea, emphasizing the strategic importance of territories like the Canary Islands in marine innovation and Atlantic cooperation. Additionally, Gran Canaria will be promoted as a Starlight Destination, showcasing its conditions for astronomical observation.
The program will include water exhibitions and nautical activities open to the public, along with family leisure areas. Scientific dissemination and knowledge of the marine environment, distinctive elements of Fimar, will once again hold a prominent place on the event's agenda.
