The island of Gran Canaria is celebrating the San Juan festival this Wednesday under splendid sunshine and pleasant temperatures, following the previous night's festivities.

After the traditional nighttime celebrations, the island awakens to favorable weather conditions encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the beach. Although some clouds were recorded in the early morning hours, particularly in the north, a clear improvement is expected as the day progresses, with skies tending to become little cloudy or completely clear from midday onwards.
The meteorological forecast for the province of Las Palmas indicates that the north of Gran Canaria will remain cloudy during the first half of the day, while the rest of the slopes will experience cloudy intervals. However, these clouds will gradually dissipate, giving way to wide clearings and stable afternoon weather. There is a low probability of light rain in the north during the early morning hours.
In the islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, cloudy intervals are also expected in the early hours, with a trend towards mostly clear skies from midday, also favoring a pleasant day for outdoor activities.
Temperatures will experience little significant change, or may even register a slight decrease. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, thermometers will range between a minimum of 21 degrees and a maximum of 25 degrees, mild and very comfortable values for this time of year.
The wind will blow from the northeast, light to moderate, although some intervals of strong intensity are not ruled out on the west and southeast slopes of Gran Canaria. In summit areas, the wind will be moderate from the west, with occasionally strong gusts.
This outlook makes the San Juan day present itself as an ideal day to enjoy the outdoors, with many hours of sunshine predicted and a fully summery atmosphere in a large part of the archipelago.
