Gran Canaria is gearing up for the fifth edition of the Gran Canaria Surf No Limit Fundación DISA, which will host the Spanish Parasurfing Championship from June 12 to 14 at La Cícer wave in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

This event, considered the most significant of its kind nationally, will bring together the country's leading parasurfers, including several world champions. The competition will take place at Las Canteras beach, providing an ideal setting for this discipline.
The Spanish Parasurfing Championship is part of the Spanish Parasurfing Cup, awarding 1,200 points for the final ranking of the 2026 National Parasurfing Circuit of the Spanish Surfing Federation. Additionally, it will count towards the Canarian Adapted Surfing Circuit, organized by the Canarian Surfing Federation.
Under the name Gran Canaria Surf Fest, the Gran Canaria Surf No Limit Fundación DISA marks the beginning of a series of surfing events scheduled for 2026 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. These include the ETB Gran Canaria Pro, the Open LPA Surf City, and the debut of the Gran Canaria Longboard Challenge, consolidating a comprehensive surfing offering on the island.
The adapted sports festival, running from Thursday, June 11, to Sunday, June 14, will feature a varied program of parallel activities. These will include talks with participants and world champions, a market, gastronomic offerings, and music, all along Las Canteras avenue. It will involve the participation of Canarian collectives such as Asociación Mi Hijo y Yo, Fundación Canaria Pequeño Valiente, Trisomía 21, and La Vida Sigue en +, promoting inclusion and sustainability.
