This event has established itself as one of the most significant cultural events in Gran Canaria, generating a notable impact on key sectors such as hospitality, accommodation, transport, and local commerce. Since its inception in 2022, the festival has accumulated an economic impact close to 95 million euros and has created over 6,000 direct jobs, in addition to thousands of indirect positions.
The 2026 edition, scheduled from July 2 to 5 at the Estadio de Gran Canaria, is set to be the most ambitious to date. It will feature a lineup of top-tier international artists, including Maroon 5, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Juan Luis Guerra. They will be joined by prominent contemporary artists such as Dani Fernández, Lola Índigo, Danny Ocean, Omar Courtz, and Carlos Rivera, among others.
The expansion to four days of programming, one more than in previous editions, is a key factor that will help surpass previous economic impact levels. This increase in duration and the quality of the artistic proposal strengthens the festival's appeal, anticipating greater economic activity on the island during its celebration.
The Granca Live Fest is supported by various institutions and sponsors, such as the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, and the Canarian Institute of Cultural Development, among others, underscoring its importance as a cultural and economic driver for the region.
