The airline, a leader in connections between Madrid and the Canary Islands, has organized a special initiative in collaboration with Plátano de Canarias (Canary Bananas) and the tourism bodies of the islands. On the day, welcome postcards, souvenirs, and artisanal gastronomic products evoking the archipelago's culinary identity will be distributed.
Among the gifts are souvenirs shaped like Majorero cheese, artisanal shortbread cookies from Lanzarote, corn gofio from Gran Canaria, and flower honey from La Palma. Additionally, on flights to Tenerife and other islands, Plátano de Canarias will be handed out.
Business class passengers will also enjoy a special Canarian gastronomic touch, with a tapa of octopus, 'papas arrugadas' (wrinkled potatoes), and 'mojo picón' (spicy red sauce), as well as a salad of confit artichoke with red mojo dressing. These dishes were developed with their catering partner, Do&Co, reinforcing the company's commitment to quality and local products.
