The recent addition to Dreamland Gran Canaria, Brandon Jefferson, has quickly established an important role within the team. After just two games, the point guard has followed the lead of his coach, Néstor Che García, expressing gratitude for the derby victory and highlighting the atmosphere created by the fans.
Jefferson views the remaining three games as "three finals," starting with the crucial Sunday match against Lleida at Barris Nord. "Every game is now a final, and our focus is on Lleida," stated the player, who noted his rapid adaptation to the team despite limited training before the game against Barça.
Regarding the duel against the team coached by Gerard Encuentra, Jefferson told the club's official media that he expects "a dogfight." "I've heard their fans are great, they make noise, and they are very close to the court, but we players like those kinds of atmospheres," he added.
The point guard emphasized the keys to returning with a victory that could secure the team's mathematical survival. "We have to be focused, do our thing, and fight them from start to finish; we need to play together, intelligently, and be concentrated from the beginning," he concluded.
