Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is set to host 'The Art of the Dining Room', an event aimed at revaluing service in fine dining, featuring prominent industry professionals.

Following its successful debut in Alicante, 'The Art of the Dining Room' initiative, sponsored by Ron Matusalem, arrives in the Canary Islands on April 13. The event will take place at the emblematic Hotel Santa Catalina, reinforcing its commitment to highlighting the essential role of front-of-house service in high-level culinary experiences.
In a context where gastronomy is evolving towards increasingly comprehensive experiences, 'The Art of the Dining Room' emphasizes the relevance of the dining room as a fundamental pillar in shaping the diner's experience. Beyond the kitchen, the project focuses on hospitality and the front-of-house team's ability to create memorable moments.
The choice of Las Palmas as the next stop reflects the archipelago's growing prestige within the national gastronomic scene and the consolidation of an increasingly demanding professional environment. The Canary Islands have become a key meeting point where tradition, local produce, and excellent service converge in high-quality culinary proposals.

All of them will participate in a round table discussion addressing key issues for the present and future of the sector, such as the evolution of service, talent management in the dining room, continuous training, and adaptation to an increasingly informed and demanding clientele.

The gathering will bring together prominent figures from the sector, including restaurant managers, restaurateurs, and other professionals linked to the gastronomic experience. Among the participants are Raúl Rodríguez, dining room director of the iconic Horcher restaurant in Madrid and winner of the National Gastronomy Award for best dining room service in Spain; Israel Ramírez, director of the Saddle restaurant, awarded a Michelin Star; Pedro Monje, director and owner of the historic Via Veneto restaurant; and Yoze Torres, Global CEO of Ron Matusalem.
With this second stop, 'The Art of the Dining Room' reaffirms its itinerant nature, aiming to foster community within the sector and create a meeting point for professionals who share a common vision: understanding restoration through detail, precision, and excellence in service. For Ron Matusalem, with over 150 years of history, this initiative reflects a strong commitment to the culture of hospitality and to all professionals who, from the dining room, elevate the gastronomic experience.
