The Dinosol group has commenced construction on an ambitious urban development project in Santa María de Guía, which includes 577 homes, a shopping center, and two large urban parks, with an investment surpassing 100 million euros.

This operation, considered the largest in the region, spans an area of 146,137 square meters, equivalent to over 16 football fields. The project, known as Finca Clavijo, is located next to the Mercado de Guía and extends from the Los Salesianos building to the Las Garzas ravine.
In addition to the homes and the 15,272 square meter shopping center, the plan includes the creation of two urban parks totaling 30,100 square meters, a ring road, and two parking areas. Land has also been reserved for a future school, a library, a sports area, and a bike lane.

"This is the most powerful land in terms of housing capacity not only in Guía but in the entire region."

The urban plan, led by Dinosol Supermercados S.L. and the Diocese of Canarias, comprises 404 market-rate homes and 173 subsidized housing units. It is estimated that these new residences will attract approximately 1,384 new residents to the municipality.
Earthmoving work has begun, under archaeological supervision, due to the discovery of a 16th-century necropolis in the area in 2009. The project also includes the transfer of plots to the Guía City Council for public facilities, such as a children's park and a primary school.
