Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Fall in Fataga

A 32-year-old man was airlifted to the Insular Hospital after suffering multiple traumas on the GC-60 road.

A 32-year-old man has suffered severe multiple traumas following a motorcycle accident on the GC-60 road near Fataga, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

The incident occurred this Sunday around 1:00 PM, prompting the response of the Canary Islands Emergency Medical Service (SUC). Paramedics attended to the injured individual at the scene and, assessing the severity of his injuries, arranged for his transfer via a medicalized helicopter to the helipad of the Hospital Universitario Insular de Gran Canaria.
Firefighters from San Bartolomé de Tirajana assisted by securing the area for the helicopter's landing and takeoff operations. Civil Guard officers were also present to manage traffic and conduct the relevant investigation.
