A 28-year-old motorcyclist has been seriously injured after falling on the GC-65 road, on the ascent to Los Cuchillos, in the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Gran Canaria.

The incident occurred on July 15, 2026, at 4:14 PM. The Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting the motorcyclist's fall on the mentioned road.
Emergency services, including the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) with a medicalized helicopter, ambulances, the Guardia Civil, Local Police, and the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, were dispatched to the scene. SUC medical personnel stabilized the injured man until the arrival of the helicopter, which transported him to the Gran Canaria University Hospital with severe multiple injuries.
Firefighters collaborated by securing the area for the helicopter's landing and takeoff, while the Guardia Civil and Local Police conducted the corresponding report and assisted emergency resources.
