Pope Leo XIV will visit the Canary Islands on June 11th and 12th, with an agenda including meetings with migrants and a mass at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.

The visit of Pope Leo XIV to the Canary Islands, following his stops in Madrid and Barcelona, will commence on Thursday, June 11th, in Gran Canaria. The landing is scheduled for 10:50 AM at the Gando Air Base.
The agenda on the island includes an encounter with migrant reception realities at Puerto de Arguineguín, a meeting with clergy and pastoral agents at the Cathedral of Santa Ana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and a large mass at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
On Friday, June 12th, the pontiff will travel to Tenerife. There, his tour will begin with a meeting with migrants at the Las Raíces center in La Laguna, followed by an event on migrant integration in the Plaza del Cristo de La Laguna.
The final event of the visit will be a holy mass officiated at 12:15 PM at the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, before his farewell ceremony at Tenerife North Airport.
