The world windsurfing competition concluded in Pozo Izquierdo, Gran Canaria, crowning Sol Degrieck in U21 women, Natsuki Wakasa in U18, and Lars Gobisch in men's Master.

The final day of the Windsurf World Championship in Gran Canaria determined the champions in the U21 women, U18, and men's Master categories. Excellent wind and wave conditions at Pozo Izquierdo allowed the athletes to shine.
The young Belgian Sol Degrieck, aged 16, secured the U21 women's title. The rider demonstrated her experience across the three heats, achieving the highest score in the wave discipline during the final. Germany's Emma Miron took second place, followed by her compatriot Helena Derya.

"Today I really enjoyed it because the conditions were with us and because I am very satisfied with the high score I achieved in the waves section."

Sol Degrieck · U21 Women's Champion
In the U18 women's category, Japan's Natsuki Wakasa was crowned champion after defeating Spain's Aline Diefenbach. Germany's Frida Miron completed the podium.
The men's Master category saw one of the most closely contested finals. Germany's Lars Gobisch successfully defended his title, overcoming Great Britain's Ben Proffitt. Although Proffitt scored higher in jumps, Gobisch's superiority in waves proved decisive in retaining the championship. Spain's Michael Friedl finished third.

"Today I had a great responsibility because my sons achieved podiums and I couldn't be left behind. Fortunately, I won and have revalidated the title I won last year."

Lars Gobisch · Master Champion
Finally, Spain's Michael Friedl was crowned winner of the Grand Master category, concluding the last finals scheduled before the championship's ultimate outcome.
