For Tuesday, cloudy intervals are expected, evolving into overcast skies in the afternoon, with light to moderate rain in the mid-slopes and northern areas of the islands. At sea, choppy to rough seas are anticipated, increasing to very rough by the end of the day, with a northwest swell of one to two meters and showers in the north.
On Wednesday, cloudy intervals will persist. Overcast or cloudy skies will prevail in the north of the larger islands, with occasional light or locally moderate rain. Precipitation is not ruled out in the southern mid-slopes in the afternoon and in the easternmost islands in the late hours. Minimum temperatures will remain stable, while maximums will experience a slight to moderate decrease, more significant in inland and high areas.
From Thursday, the rains will intensify and transform into a DANA (Isolated Depression at High Levels), which will approach the Iberian Peninsula, potentially causing a thermal drop and showers in other regions, according to Meteored. In the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals with light to moderate rain are expected in the north of the larger islands, with a likelihood of weaker precipitation in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Maximum temperatures will see a slight increase, although there is a probability of weak frosts in the central peaks of Tenerife.
