A helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) rescued a 36-year-old hiker who suffered a serious fall in the Charco Azul area of Agate, Gran Canaria.

A 36-year-old man was evacuated by a GES helicopter and firefighters after suffering a fall in the Charco Azul area, in the municipality of Agate. The incident occurred in a location difficult for ground resources to access.
The alert was received at 5:26 PM by the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination Center, which mobilized the necessary resources for the injured person's medical assistance.
Subsequently, the young man was transferred by a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) from El Berriel aerodrome to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
