Six individuals have been arrested in Gran Canaria after arriving from the coast of Andalusia on a vessel allegedly used for drug trafficking.

Security forces have carried out an operation in which a boat arriving from the Andalusian coast was intercepted. The six individuals on board have been arrested.
According to preliminary information, the vessel was being used for the transport of narcotics, in an activity known as 'petaqueo'.
The intervention took place in waters near the island, concluding with the detention of those involved and the seizure of the drugs.
